President Trump has nominated ‘chemical industry ally’ Dr Michael L. Dourson to be head of the body that determines which chemicals should have stricter regulation and which should have none at all. Is he 'in the pocket' of the chemical companies, or can he be open minded in permitting levels of chemicals that are healthy for the population as well as the chemical industry?

Positive news for agriproduct suppliers and buyers was announced from Buenos Aires last week, with the cancelling of the current 6% import duty placed on high-quality diammonium phosphate (DAP) from Russia.
